Global flavour and fragrance major Givaudan is set to acquire Munich-headquartered fragrance house Drom, adding to its run of acquisitions this year and strengthening its global market hold.
Fragrance and flavours ingredients provider has published full year 2013 results showing strong gains in organic sales worldwide, together with a rise in net income of nearly 20%.
Swiss flavours and fragrance manufacturers Givaudan has reported
strong Q1 results - as a direct impact of the acquisition of Quest
International last year.
Givaudan has reported that sales fell in 2004, with a poor
performance from its fragrance division hampered by its fragrance
ingredients business combined with unfavourable currency exchange
rates, reports Simon Pitman.
